Land Rover Series 2a 88 1966 2.25D

  

Land Rover Series 2a 1966. As per pictures - good running project to recommission or full restoration for someone. Been off the road a while and ive maybe just done 100 miles locally with it over last 2.5 years so needs going over. Starts well and runs ok - smokes a bit and lacks some power - came with recon injectors etc...

Brakes work with a couple of pumps, drives OK, steering a bit wandery. Had a series 3 gearbox fitted and clutch hydraulics modified. Has earlier axles fitted by the look of it. Will come with a battery but probably not the one on it. Chassis looks mostly original has surface rust etc... And lots of oil/underseal but doesnt appear to be any massive structural issues but havent looked too closely. Has had a rear x member at some stage.

Logbook and some old MOT's etc... Based near Bedale - North Yorkshire.
