Freelander 1 Roof Rack Subframe (Rhino roof rack not included). The listing includes the adaptor rails/subframe shown in the last photo, along with the spacers required to fasten these to the standard captive fixing locations in the roof. To suit first generation Freelander 5 door variants, 1997 - 2006. Bolt-on subframe replaces the OEM rails, to create a low-profile, versatile flat platform to bolt on a chosen roof rack. Installed on vehicle, the platform created is 1455mm long by 830mm wide (740mm between subframe rails). Suggested roof rack, as shown in vehicle photos: Rhino roof rack (R563) to create a full length, full width solution.

3mm steel construction, available Zinc plated and powder coated (this listing), or unfinished steel for the user to apply their chosen finish (contact for a bespoke lower priced listing). This kit enables the user to build a roof rack solution that suits their requirements - it is important that the user takes responsibility for the safety of any modifications made to their vehicle.
