Land Rover Defender 90 off road 4x4 Project

Hi and welcome to this listing for a 1989 Land Rover Defender 90. I bought this a couple of weeks ago and my wife hates it. GOOD BITS: The truck is fitted with a 200tdi engine , runs great , gearbox is strong , it has a snorkel, off road tyres (including brand new spare) high lift kit, roof rack, roof light bar, rear roof light.

The interior has been re-trimmed including the 2 rear bench seats. There is a front winch bumper fitted (winch is not included as im using it on another truck) The Defender has just run out of m.

I also fitted a new Radiator. The front headlights have been upgraded to the new style L. I have full v5 logbook in my name.

BAD BITS: the usual stuff, wiper motor is playing up (brand new one unfitted will be supplied), heaters don't work, door catch is temperamental, will need welding for next m. T (or ideally a galvanised chassis) interior will need some tidying up. OVERALL: I'm going to be as honest as possible, if your looking for luxury SUV 4x4 then a Defender is not the car for you, in a nutshell you are paying more to have less, these things require experience to drive and if you've never had one you will struggle but if your an enthusiast and love the attention of a rugged manly vehicle that is ready for the zombie apocalypse then this is the truck for you. This truck really attracts attention wherever it goes with all sorts of people asking for a picture next to it. Due to the above listed issues (bad bits) and no M. T, I wouldn't recommend driving it across the country. This shape of Defender is now discontinued so the prices are going up rapidly therefore grab yourself an investment while you can. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: PLEASE NO TIME WASTERS!!! I have been as honest as I can with my description these things are absolute dogs to drive but people love them lol, Great for the winter snow providing you have a thick coat to wear. I may consider a P/X with cash either way. The truck has no M. T so unfortunately it cant go out for a test drive and I recommend that you trailer it away.
