I have owned this car for the last 2 and a half years, it has been well used and much loved. It's had extensive work done when I bought it to prevent breakdowns and improve reliability (see below for details).
Cam belt/ Fuel pump belt/water pump changed. Park brake serviced and rebuilt.
Auto box flushed with genuine ZF filter pan and oil, mechatronic switch changed. New front drilled & groved discs and pads. 30 mm wheel spacers all round. Custom made discrete heavy duty winch mount with recovery eyes not flimsy britpart! Super winch 12,000 lbs winch with air free spool (arb compressor) in cab switched battery isolator and in cab switched winch in/out switch (comes with plug in winch fly lead).
ARB air compressor running winch free spool also has air line fitting for tyre inflation. Full length roof rack with spare wheel mount. Front 52 twin row Osram LED light bar (insanely bright) comes on with main beam but can be switched off in cab.Rear 42 single row Osram LED light bar switched in cab. 4 side/ rock lights switched in cab. 2 Air suspension lift rods (can be adjusted to run at standard hight).
Heavy duty 8mm aluminium engine/gearbox/transfer box under body protector plates. Mantec raised air intake all properly sealed. Straight through exhaust decay rear box delete/centre box delete.
Stage 1.5 remap- 30mpg on a run. BF Goodrich Km 3 mud tyres. CB radio Thunderpole with roof rack mounted aerial.Air con serviced and regassed with new condenser. Oil changed every 4000 miles. Diffs and transfer box oils changed 2 months ago.
2x new front airbags/suspension struts. Extra USB charging points added. The interior is very clean for the age. There are a few marks on the paintwork with a few minor dents due to what this has been built & used for. This will out perform a Discovery 1 & 2 hands down on green lanes it has more power and is far more comfortable to drive.
